The August 2010 Monthly Newsletter from Don Sardella, Sr. Consultant for Mark Kamin & Associates, Inc., Specializing in Coaching Services for Financial Advisors

This is our comeback newsletter, since our upgraded website (www.donsardella.com) and now as a Consultant with Mark Kamin and Associates (http://www.mka-world.com/ )

For almost every business practitioner I know, resiliency, flexibility and energized bounce-back are the order of the day, in increasingly changing environments and unforeseeable surprises. How do we continue to inspire our focus and our momentum?

In addition to the more risk adverse market conditions, many professionals that I have either spoken or worked with in recent years has had several curve balls come their way, both as individuals and as business owners. I know I have. Many had lots of evidence and social agreement that they were doing all the right things. And, in every case, it didn’t make them, or any of us, immune to all these sudden, severe, game-changing challenges.

Like the well-known 5 stages of grief, the first challenge is to come to terms that the new reality is our new reality. Then to re-establish, or freshly establish, a powered-up focus for reinvention and turnaround, as the next stage to get ourselves back on a growth track.

How do we generate increasing power for effectiveness in the face of such changes?

Given that we are clearly past the half-way point for 2010, I have always found it helpful around this time each year to do a re-assessment. If you haven’t yet completed a version of this for yourself, I encourage you to do so. Click here for a suggested outline, as a guide.

As I have been reviewing this process with clients in recent weeks, many have reported a fresh clarity and power to hit their reset button for a stronger finish in the second half of 2010, especially connecting with their most motivating, core purposes – sometimes even freshly re-creating it, along with an impact on their servicing and marketing results.

If we think about it, in only 4 months from now, it will fundamentally be Thanksgiving and the Holidays. That is obviously not a lot of time and we all want to make it count.

If you think we can be of complimentary assistance as you are going through this process, please call upon us to set up a workable time to do so. We would be thrilled to be in the fullest possible communication with you and we are committed that your business turn out for you in the ways that you most need and want, no matter what your circumstances

We encourage you to optimize the value of this exercise for yourself and your biz – in fact, advocate everyone you know to do the same. Spread the word – opportunities await.

Til the next time we speak, we are here for you – Coach Don

Welcome to the brand-new DonSardella.com!

2010 marks a new chapter for my practice, as I reposition myself to be as effective as possible. Part of this resolution involves communicating more effectively and efficiently. This is where DonSardella.com comes in. Below is an explanation of some of the best new features and how you stand to benefit from each:

Look and Feel

DonSardella.com has been redesigned from the ground-up, with its content in mind from day one. This way, with form following function, you will find everything where it belongs. Navigation is hierarchical, and distinct headers keep you from forgetting part of the site a page was in.

Info Center

The Info Center acts like a vault, storing excellent resources that you can use to further yourself and your business. While small now, this section will grow quickly.

Newsletter

“Taking Yourself to the Next Level,” my FREE, monthly e-newsletter, has received a face-lift and some cool new features. You can now subscribe and change your subscription settings right here on the site, and all future newsletters will also be posted where they’re easy to fine in the blog.

Blog

Today is also the launch date for my blog! This new tool will allow you to stay up-to-date on everything happening on my site, and keep informed about new opportunities and ideas.
